Wednesday
QB still in pain from the sidewalk attack.
Highlight of Wednesday was the outstanding pork dinner.

Breakfast at daylesford, a real farm to table with their own farm, offered some very California drinks as starters. We sampled the nut latte. Not a winner.

Thursday. The Wallace collection.
First a Titian for Dee.
A bit faded as this hung in Wallace’s bathroom, highly steamed. He did not know it was by Titian.

Titian above.
Two Cannalettos below. Our favorites at the Wallace.

Dinner at Daylesford.

what was “Dinner at Daylesford”?
For salads. Daylesford is a farm to table restaurant. Has, of course a farm. QB had chicken and grilled veggies

Lentils.
Ugh.
Titian and Canneletto’s, Si!
Lentils were good.
Love the Titian and Canaletto! I just saw Truth and Beauty at the Legion. Totally recommend it if you are back before the end of September
Yes an interesting show. We caught it before we left. QB looked the Morris stuff.
Jeff–thanks for the thought, but it’s Tiepolo not Titian that was the subject of my inquiry. I’ll take the Canaletto’s though. No problem with Titian though.

For some reason, thinking about your visit to the Wallace House reminded me of going to the Kenwood ay Hampstead Heath– such a gorgeous setting, a fine collection and I fondly remember having a break for tea outside… have you been there?
