Chores for leaving done and trip to Trinity church to hear their restored organ. A concert.

We came to hear this renovation of the organ. Details, more than one is likely to need, follow.

Sounds like a wonderful trip to New York. New York will be very different under the new mayor, I’m afraid not for the better.
Far far too soon to know. Saying you can get the city council to do x y and z is very different from actually getting them to do that. The city council likely will give some deference to a few projects and then hold off acting the way your bureaucracy generally does. May not be as impactful as many hope. Time will tell.
Looks good. I wonder how New York’s recent election is going to affect the popularity and livability of New York. The preliminary response here in Florida has been that it is particularly good for the real estate values, especially in the Jewish community.

As I mentioned in a note to Ellen, I think it’s too soon to come to a conclusion. He will get some early gains from the city council and then we’ll find it very hard to get anything radical through the city council so I don’t think the city will change that much. It’s very hard to change a big city as you know. How inclusive or exclusive he will be and his relationship with the Jewish community is yet to be seen. His views on Gaza are of course, disturbing to many but many Jews are annoyed at the way. Israel acts as well. A fragile piece in Israel, likely the best we can hope for will overtime have effects.
Thanks for the audio! Nice touch.
