Friday.
QB at members lounge of the RA. Asked if we could use as no exhibits and museum empty.

Above is dinner on hotel room. Naturally the power went out where we went for ramen so got a fine picnic of cheeses, prosciutto, salads, wine, good bread. Of course some gazpacho.

Saturday, field trip to Cambridge. Andy and Sonia as guides.
Andy is an expert on British ales and possibly president of the organisation of Britain British ales. Sonia a Cambridge biochemist now retired from the field.
Trip to cambridge. Many photos. Andy, Sonia, Bobby and the Boogs. Visited Fitzwilliam museum, Kings College and the fab fan vaulted ceiling (largest of course), pub, the Eagle, where Watson and Crick did their dirty, Cavendish and Lord Raleigh plaques, Trinity college, Pimms gelatin.
Too many pics, several quite good, so made them public on Flickr, date of September 8. Open link and go to that date.
Just one for the flavor.

Cambridge photos definitely worth viewing, not only for gracious architecture but to learn that the DNA discovery was announced at the place where they had dinner vs their lab. Gives a sense of priority. Good to see that Rosalind Franklin is at least mentioned.
Who among you ate that enormous plate of grilled prawns?
None of us had prawns. Not clear which Eater referred to?
There was sure a huge plate of prawns! No one taking responsibility? or recognizing its existence?
Now I am intrigued. Where were the prowns in what picture? Day? City?
I think the prawns (photo on flickr) were prior to this sacking; appear to be at Boog Hall.
Well caught
Right after Cambridge pictures end on Flickr–and between a buddha and a loaf of bread. It is a large picture; definitely prawns or prawn cousins!
The prawns are dated June 23. They are the picture prior to Cambridge. Most of our pics are set to private. June 23 was the previous public pic. The buddah is of course at the Fitzwilliam.
June 23–well past their expiration date. Is your Flickr app starting to smell a bit off?
