Old and oldest houses in Newport. Interested in pre 1700.
This is 1697.
Only 17th century found so far, there are supposedly 4 such.
The following, all dated, are pre revolutionary war. Each has a date posted.
Notice the hospitality pineapple above and below.
Newport has the largest collection of pre revolutionary war built houses still standing.
