6 July Thursday
Surprisingly good visit to the National Museum of American Illustrators. A private non profit featuring 150+ works by Rockwell, Parrish, Leyendecker, Wyeth and many more.
A view of America that never was, white, Episcopalian, frecked, patriotic and happy.
One is a copy one an original. Guess.
Most of the original art is oil based. An incredible achievement as some did 3000 or more works. The quality is quite evident and well worth the visit; George encouraged us to go.
Sunset in the harbor
Friday 7 July rain, heavy at times
Another early morning Spanish lesson. A quixotic quest.
A day of walking about capped by a fine lobster roll and bouibasse.
Saturday 8 July a fine day
Green animal topiary park, aptly named place on national register. Marsha recommended and joined.
Green Ash tree, large and lovely.
Too many fine ones for the blog. Others on Flickr.
Anthony’s Seafood for roddy clam chowder to go. Part of dinner this evening. Chowder in forground.

Looks like a great museum with lovely artwork. The garden os beautiful. The dinner looks like it was delicious and properly consumed.
All good observations,as usual
