Tues 4 July. Fireworks day and open  religious freedom program.

Day starts with traditional band music, reading of the declaration, and 21 gun salute.

All the churches open for viewing, this is the first year of the program; seems to  be in response to Trump.

Visited the Quaker house, oldest Quaker in America, 1699.  Touro synagogue, oldest synagogue still operating in North America.

Quaker meeting house

First Babtist, and Trinity, first church in RI. Lots of firsts.

Hot dog and beans dinner.

Cliff walk. One of the required tourist items. Boulders get challenging after the Breakers.

Visit to the number one mansion, the Breakers. Garish to the max. On a very lovely site,match.

As we were leaving asked us if we were coming back. I said nah. QB told me to be polite. I said is was. She said nah. Still newyorkers.
