Saturday 1 July

Road trip to our new abode in Newport.

Those with cleaning and quality genes were not happy. Much deserved fussing. Dirty oven, sheets, internet not turned on, etc. All for $8000 a month.

All good on the surface but dirt underneath. A deep cleaning service ordered.

Bird on rooftop. With squawking. Video to big. Rooftop view.

Almost $400 worth of provisioning the condo dinner time arrived. Spanish style.

Cliff walk – one part. Nice views.

1711 house, not the oldest, not by a Longshot.

Monday 3 July

First Spanish lesson. Met at the corner cafe.

    I assume this wasn’t AirBnB? Is Spanish required for Newport?

      I found a Spanish tutor online so, in preparation for this year’s camino decided to get a month of pronunciation lessons.
