Arrived late last evening, rest day today. Rest and tourist.
Cirencester parish church of st John the Baptist, week with a visit to this extraordinary building, carved ceilings, devil over the cross. The verger gave us a private extensive tour. One Roman column,a wall from 1140, and an excellent organ playing while we were there.

A walk on private property, well landscaped park open for daytime use.
After chores such as waterproofing jackets, shipping some stuff home, buying odds and ends we tried to book dinner. Failed. All booked until 9pm.
Found a decent pub and ate quite well; the bitter Wainwright was good. Not as good as Doombar but goods.
Short discussions on brexit continue. Those in favor of staying cannot articulate the argument for leaving. Have not yet found any leavers as yet.
