BSLC Alburg Ransom Bay

Thursday sunny windy no mosquitoes

A healthy breakfast, perfectly prepared with home baked chocolate raspberry muffins.

Under who knew: Vermont has two high tech border crossings, a population of under 700K, the largest number of deportations in the North.

Finished the picture postcard perfect rail trail, 55 miles round trip, 3% average grade, good gravel surface.

Today was an almost perfect booking day. Excellent roads, landscapes, virtually no traffic. Almost due to the wind.

Returned to the same fine B&B,circa 1795 stone building, originally a stagecoach stop, as Tuesday night. Different path, longer but fewer vertical climbs and better quality roads. Much much harder due to wind from the west

The owner here graduated from SUNY Binghamton, 1974, geolgy. Ended up as a mechanical engineer.

I wonder if this is Google behaving badly on purpose like Microsoft used to do (incompatible fonts in Powerpoint for Mac, etc). The difference is, Google is not the ones in a position of strength here.  Or maybe, more likely, it is simple incompetence. There is a lot of that in the IT world these days.
