Obligatory visit to the rocks, part of the harbor and a main tourist area. Had a Sunday market. Decent.
As a small adventure we took a local bus ride to the very large, their largest park. Quest to see parrots.
Early sighting of a sulfur created parrot. Not sure if it was a lesser. Many Rosellas feeding in the trees. Spoke to information at park to inquire as to the best parrot birding areas.
A snack at the cafe. Again, lots of food and table scraps but no birds foraging. None. Impossible to understand.
Much success! Flock of bare eyed toos in the trees and on the ground. Flock, well several, sulfur crested in the palm ferns, many tweeting Rosellas or lorties,Aussie quail, and a fine collection of tree bats.
Walked back from the park and to dinner near the Rocks at a good Thai restaurant, sailor Thai.
