BSLDU   Boogs Sack the Lands Down Under

Yes, it is that time again, or soon will be.   Kea Parrots, Merino
Sheep, Kiwis, Tasmanian devils, Fairy penguins, Roos, Pademelons, many
types of parrots and much more, hopefully.

For those who are receiving this for the first time, welcome.  Newly
added friends acquaintances, here is your chance to join or quietly
demur.

Communications will be different for this adventure, hence the earlier
note.

Email will not be used.  Eliminated push notifications – replaced by
pull – also makes it easier for us.

There are several choices on how to follow the adventures.

a)  Google Plus  best for discussion and conversation

If you have a Google plus account and boogkb@gmail.com is in your circles
you will see the posts.   As we will be posting from smartphones you
will NOT get notifications by email.  Will have to check G+

Google plus permits, and we encourage, comments and discussion.

For those who wish to follow the trip on Google +, and do not already
receive regular postings from me on G+ send me your gmail address and
I will add it to my main circle.  Note: if you see Google plus only by
email you will not receive the emails during the trip as my phone does
not support that feature.

b) Blog with or without notifications  (best with)

The G+ posts should appear at    http://blog.boogs.net
You can, if you prefer, use an easier URL:   www.tiptoptea.com

On the home blog page you can sign up for email notifications when new
posts occur.  Confirmations do not come immediately, take 5-15 minutes.
Sometimes the confirmations go to spam folders.

Depending on the browser the signup link will be on the side or down
page or at the bottom.   It will just ask for an email address and for
you to click Subscribe or Unsubscribe.

Thanks to Tom K for setting this up.

c) Flickr

All the pictures taken with the camera will appear here.  Unedited
during the trip.

For those who want only to look at the pictures, mostly from the
camera, uploaded when we have wifi, bookmark

http://www.flickr.com/photos/boogskbqb/

Why the change?  Encouraged conversations (Google plus is designed for
conversations), less intrusive discussions, full size pictures when
desired, easiest for us to post.

Some notes.

Trip Details:
Start Auckland NZ and walk, explore; then off to Tasmania to do the
same.  Finally up the NSW coast of Australia.

If you do not have a gmail account easy to get one and then just
forward all mail from that gmail address to your usual email address.
You will need a gmail account to use G+.

Conversation is encouraged in G+.  Easy to post, comment, share, keep
in touch or complain about the lighting in our pics.
