   It has been over a decade since I visted the Metropolitan Museum with Andy Shaw, but this prodded a strong memory. Probably the Met's best work by Tiffany.What I can't remember is whether this window used Tiffany's multi-layered, stained glass technique or whether that was a more abstract window. Which ever it was, its one of those techniques which gives a depth and richness of colour that can only be seen in the original work of art – photographic reproductions don't quite achieve the same effect.

   Agree.   We take an annual pilgrimage to NYC and the Met most years.   Generally with a nice walk from the hotel through the park.   Hope you get to visit again.
