Ah, I suspect the boogs' reputation will precede them, next trip. Hotels and restaurant owners will be quaking in their boots!

Subject: BSMnM Lobsters again and again plus Acadia wanderingsWanderings in Acadia – a wonderful National Park – with land mostly donated by Rockerfeller Jr. He built the carriage ways and forbid cars on them. Nicely graded, 2% -5% rolling hard packed surface.
QB walked the paths, I took the wheels. Pics on flickr from QBs walk as well as the food discussed below.
Found a field of wild blueberries. Picked some and carried along for a later treat. About 10% of the high up field appeared to be ripe. Excellent taste; good price.
But, this is a tour of Lobsters. Twice today for me. Once at lunch, a nice salad which was basically a tail two claws and a piece of lobster served with a good hot popover.
Dinner led to some queries and another reduced bill (see summary below). This place, right on the waterfront with an excellent view, used the boiling in sea water approach. Ah…. to boil or to steam. Experts will have to jump in. Both methods appear good but lead to a very different taste. Boiling seems to lead to a bit more tenderness.
However, the lobsters tonight we much softer shell; much. Full of the boiled water and a lot less meat. When I pointed this out to the staff, and indicated other places we have eaten at gave full measure they took $10 off the bill.
Discount summary to date:
-lobster dinner, softer shell, $10
-Delta Hotel in Trois-Riveria- fully comped dinner after the waiter made a couple of mistakes which were pointed out.
-Loews Hotel, Le Concorde, Quebec, roof top restaurant fully comped breakfast buffer after some comments we made about "certain items".
No free rooms this trip but the trip is not over.
The popovers at Jordons Pond House were perfect. Served with butter and jam as is to be expected. Pics on flickr site. New set, BSMnM Boogs sack Maine and Mass (just a short bit in New Hampshire).
Also pictured are some Prince Edwards Island mussels we forced down. Fortunately Jordon's Pond ice cream is available in town; we had some, high fat type.
Will stay some extra time to further explore Acadia as well as Bar Harbor.
